About the Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients.
Assess patients and monitor vital signs, clinical condition and treatment response.
Administer medications, IV fluids, injections and other treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate nursing records, reports and patient documentation.
Follow NABH standards, hospital policies and infection-control practices.
Ensure proper identification of patients and medication safety practices.
Assist doctors during procedures, emergencies and clinical interventions.
Ensure proper use, cleaning and availability of nursing equipment.
Supervise and guide junior staff nurses, trainees and nursing assistants.
Coordinate with doctors and other departments for continuity of patient care.
Report adverse events, incidents and significant changes in patient condition promptly.
Participate in nursing audits, quality improvement activities and hospital training programmes.
Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients and responsibilities during shift changes.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
